Firm: Time Crunch Cardio



This is a Firm Workout to own!
I purchased directly through the Firm's website during pre-order and received it in December 2011 which is why I can review it before it's retail release through amazon.com. I might have been able to get it before the general public, but I also spent twice what amazon has this listed for... DOH! :D

After moving away from The Firm for other workouts over the recent years, I am finding myself coming back to my workout roots for a plethora of reasons and this DVD is just another reason why I am falling in love with The Firm all over again! This DVD has 3-20 minute routines and Allie is the lead instructor for each workout. A modifier is shown, usually the modification is sans weights, but they also show the low/lower impact version and a version of the exercise that has less intensity overall making it a nice workout for everyone, including beginners. This workout for me is exactly what The Firm Express should have been!!! The pace is not comfortably slow but it's not frantic...

Gets your blood pumping...
If you are just starting an exercise program or don't have enough time to exercise, this is a great DVD to start with, it gets your heart pumping with weights added in. Years ago when I first started to do the older The Firm (VHS) and I couldn't finish one without stopping several times before I got to the end, it took awhile but I finally could do a whole tape. This exercise DVD lets me finish to the end (YEAH!) without feeling too old and out of shape.

Good deal
Working for me. The squats are killers on my 53 year old body, but working! I like the three 20 minute workouts, so you can choose how much time you have each day.
